THE JOKER Launch

Earned Media, Event Activation

Six Flags Great America's 17th coaster, THE JOKER Free Fly Coaster, launched in May of 2017. As a part of the ride's opening, we hosted a media day for all of our markets to conduct live-on-the-ride interviews. I managed and conducted interviews with various outlets across five outer markets (Milwaukee, Rockford, Madison, Green Bay, and Quad Cities).​ The ride launch had the highest bookings compared to previous ride launches with 81 total hits on media day, plus 18 Facebook live bookings.

The corporate office conducted a comprehensive survey system-wide about awareness of all capital projects (new rides) in 2016 and 2017. Across 18 parks in the US, Mexico, and Canada, THE JOKER Free Fly Coaster at Six Flags Great America (one of three launched system-wide in 2017) had the highest awareness among patrons of any ride over two years.
